The most fortunate thing a school can give its students is a good alumni network. Strong alumni relationships bring many benefits to the student the institution and the alumni. Creating an engaged,supportive alumni network is crucial for an institution's success.
The collaborative efforts of the Alumni Association help to improve the overall quality of student life. The current students get an opportunity to serve as hosts and hostesses during alumni events and get first-hand experience of event management. Thus membership in the alumni association provides the student with leadership opportunities at the school. It will also provide them with access to the sprawling network of well-established school alumni across the globe. Gurukul Global Alumni Association (G2A2) membership serves as a license to talk to and seek help from its elder members.
Students also get an exposure in institutional fundraising initiatives. Managing of the funds serves like an initial lesson in financial planning. Students get valuable educational experiences in fund management and investment opportunities. Our seasoned alumni successfully carry out their role as mentors in assisting students in their transition from school to college and further to work world. This includes helping the current students to explore employment opportunities, accommodation, networks and much more. In return,they are enriched with the personal satisfaction that comes from contributing the development of another individual or the community. For example, Gurukul Global Alumni Association (G2A2) has taken the initiative to help the senior citizens of our city. G2A2 members regularly provide them with the facilities they deserve, which include food, clothing, medical treatments, or any other need they might have. Besides that, they also work towards comforting, the elderly through their physical presence. Their focus is to provide them with innovative, holistic care that celebrates their individuality.
Building a strong alumni network and sustaining it is an ongoing process. It takes a lot of effort, passion, and patience to build lifelong alumni relations. Yes, it is hard, but those little moments of nostalgia that bring back the sweet school time memories make it worth it.
